What products do you use at Michelle's Luxury Hair and Wellness Salon?

We use high-quality, organic Oway codor, Oway HBleach, Hnector from Oway hair color, Mediceutical, Leaf and Flower CBD, Keratherapy hair care for Keratin and Brazilian Blow-outs, Soji Heath for CBD supplements, and skin care.

Do you offer group bookings?

Yes and No, we offer very small group bookings 1-3 people is max for bridal parties, birthdays, and other special occasions. We also offer 10% discounts for multiple family and friends service at once. Please contact us for more information.

Do you offer Packages

Yes, we have multiple packages with huge discounts for every service, including Cryo therapy, Cryo Sculpting, hair services, air brush tanning, airbrush makeup, date night packages, wellness, and nutrition consulting services. You can check out our package info for each service for details or log into the online scheduler and look on your account under shop.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes, we have multiple level of memberships from individual annual or monthly memberships, and family memberships, with lots of FREE services every month and discounts for every service, including Cryo therapy, Cryo Sculpting, EMS body sculpting, hair services, hair extensions, airbrush tanning, airbrush makeup, wellness, and nutrition consulting services.

Do you earn loyalty points for retail and services?

Yes, we have loyalty points for every product you order online and in the Salona and Spa with Michelle, and for every service you complete. You earn extra points for scheduling online, and Pre-booking on Michelle’s scheduler.

Do you take walk ins?

No, only if there is a random opening while Michelle is there.

Otherwise, appointments only, due to long hours, long services offered and the only one working, it is recommended to book a week to 2-8 weeks in advance due to the long services and limited availability.

During holidays and weekends to book in advance. Michelle recommends to book throughout the holidays, back to school, prom, homecomings, and weekends to schedule multiple appointments at once in advance to guarantee your preferred appointment day and time.

Am I too old for hair extensions?

Can I wash my hair like normal with hair extensions??

A: Yes, you can wash your hair with extensions, but some adjustments are recommended.

Use a hair extension sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and be gentle when washing to avoid tugging on the extensions.

It is advised for tape-in hair extensions to minimize as much as possible how much you shampoo and condition the hair. Recommended 1-2 times a week.

Shampoo is for the scalp area; conditioner is for the mid-length and ends for any hair but especially important for hair extensions. Same with oils and leave in conditioner, only mid-length and ends.
It's advisable to wash in a downward motion, minimizing stress on the attachment points.
Place heat protectant, Argan oil, or leave in conditioner in your hair to protect your hair from heat and styling before combing or blow-drying.
Brush your hair with a detangling wet brush, starting at your ends, holding each section ensuring you're not tugging on your actual root of your hair.
Additionally, always ensure your hair is fully dry to prevent potential issues.

When you sleep, sleep on a silk pillowcase, this will help from the cotton to absorb your owns hair's moisture and your hair extensions.
If your hair is long braid your hair in a loose braid before going to sleep or laying down. This will prevent it from getting tangles or tugged on during the night.

Can I swim, get in chlorine or the beach?

A: Yes, you can swim in chlorinated pools or the beach with hair extensions, but it's essential to take precautions. For Both Hair Talk/ Hot Heads or Fairy Tale options, Tape-Ins, Micro-Links, or I-Tips from Michelle's Hair Salon. Many of our guidelines are what everyone should be doing anyway whether they have hair extensions or not.

Follow these guidelines:

Prevent Tangling: Before swimming, ensure your hair is tangle-free. Braid or tie it to prevent excessive tangling.
Protect from Chlorine/Saltwater: Wet your hair with clean water before swimming to limit chlorine or saltwater absorption.
Put leave in conditioner with SPF on your hair, this not only protects the hair but also the Hair color.
Avoid Excessive Soaking: Prolonged exposure to water can weaken the bonds, so limit the time spent in chlorinated water or saltwater. (Never soak your hair or extensions in a hot tub or jacuzzi)

Post-Swim Care: Afterward,

Wash your hair 2-3 times with a hair extension chlorine remover shampoo, rinse thoroughly to remove any chemicals and condition with a deep penetrating mask, follow up with leave in conditioner and heat protectant.
Make sure to comb through your hair completely.
Air dry or blow dry before going to sleep. Never fall asleep with chlorine in your hair extensions.
